I created real-time visual effects content designed to function as lighting fixtures within the show.
The objective was to loose the audience within the structural elements of the stage design, blurring the boundary between video and lighting. The visuals were crafted to resemble practical light sources, reflections, and smoking mirror effects, seamlessly integrating into the scenography.
It was a true privilege to work on such an ambitious installation.
In total, I developed over 500 distinct visual effects — nearly 1,000 including variations. From this extensive library, a carefully curated selection of a few dozen effects was ultimately retained in the final show.
All visual lighting cues were directly operated by the lighting designer via the lighting console, allowing the video content to behave as fully integrated lighting elements within the live performance environment.
