Nissan unveiled the new Nissan Patrol during a three-day event, featuring an impressive multi-surface video mapping setup:
Cyclo: 4 × 4K projectors + 9 × UHD projectors
Dunes: 12 × UHD projectors
Floor: 10 × UHD projectors
In total, 35 projectors were seamlessly mapped, warped, and blended together.
The setup relied on 4 main media servers with 2 spare units. I designed a flexible configuration in both the media servers and the projection grid, allowing either spare server to replace any of the main servers dynamically—a technical challenge successfully handled using SMODE technology and Artabase hardware.
My responsibilities included:
